See, I think everyone, to one degree or another, is an NPC, as there is no such thing as an original thought as every thought you form is actually unoriginal when you think about it. Even this very thought that I am typing right now is probably no original, and was either thought exactly in the same way by another person before me, or this thought was formed from other ideas I heard (which also means that my current thought about my previous thought being another unoriginal thought that was molded from other thoughts, and basically same goes about this thought which makes this entire thought process a never ending loop).

So it doesn't matter whether you action truly changes something on a large scale, or no. Besides, everything that seems meaningful to you might no be meaningful to someone else, for example: of course the decisions most incels make each day and the actions they do are meaningless compared to what chads and normies do since it effects less people/things, however when you truly look at the true scale of the universe, the difference between normies chads and incels are really insignificant, not to mention the fact that importance and meaning is a human made concept, and as far as science suggests, there is no bigger purpose to your, my or their existence except to simply: exist.

I would say everyone is part of an online MMORPG where none of us are NPCs.

Instead, Chads control top tier characters created with the highest stats/best distributed stats who top the leaderboard and are part of the best guilds where they get the best weapons and always succeed in their hunts.

On the other hand, incels are mostly players with characters born with bottom-tier/badly distributed stats who are not part of any/few guilds and are continually dying without much success.
