Yes. Look outside. Is the sun out? That's yin. Is the moon out? That's yang. Duality is the fundamental and irreducible property of reality, starting from the prime duality: something/nothing. Every other duality follows from that and is made manifest in some form or another, male/female, positive/negative, good/evil.
