Xbox Series S has insane value tbh.

So my graphics card broke and I really can’t afford a replacement atm hence decided on to cop a Xbox Series S since it’s dirt cheap (275 USD new)

Now I haven’t owned a console since PS3 but holy shit this is insane.

For 275 USD, you get an ecosystem that supports all sorts of copes (Spotify, Netflix, Youtube, Discord, Browser etc) on top of being able to run low end esport titles at 1440p-1080p 120 FPS (Apex, Fortnite, CoD etc) and even high end games like Baldurs Gate 3 get 60fps at 1080p.

Obviously it’s not a PC, but if you are broke or a third worldcel and want a gateway to gaming, just get this. It’s dirt cheap, works outside the box instantly and even supports MnK natively to the point you can just use it like a PC. (I don’t have a TV, just a 144hz 2k monitor)

Bill Gates seriously cooked with this, while Ps5 still has no games.

True it is good i have never had an Xbox i'm a Playstation player but the series s is really good but you need to a 120hz monitor to get the best value out of it

I feel like PS4 was decent but I’m not too fond of the Ps5.

Maybe the slim version is worth it, but Ps5 Pro is an obvious scam given how it costs 700+ USD which is territory for a decent PC build.

My dude graphics card like the rx580 exist and you could bought yourself a rx6600 or rx7600 for same price as xbox seris s and you cant even attach a disk reader on it its useless

Yep, and Series S is equivalent to about a 1650 Super. You could build a PC with those specs for not much more, and you can pirate all games afterward.

You can't even exchange games with friends (if you have friends).

in reality it's lower than 1080p

and graphic details are worse than on PC. And i would get cancer by playing fps games on a shitty gamepad.

But overall value is not bad, for third party ports it's a way better value than Steam deck or a Switch or PS5. But i would still pick pc over it even if i had to pay $200 more, with pc you can emulate and play whatever you want from the first console up to ps4.

It's impossible to buy a pc with gtx 1060 (better than shitty 1650) and ryzen 3700x (series s cpu) for less than $350 and you still need to buy PSU so it will be more like $400, i don't count mouse+keyboard+monitor since consolefags don't count their TV.

But anyway Series S is not as cheap as that dude showed in this main post in euROPE it's $381 for 1tb model ($320 for 500gb) and for $400 you can buy better PC than series s so it has bad value if you ask me.

Series S are $290 here currently for the cheapest 500GB version. I would much rather spend like $500 for a budget PC build with a 6600.

Although, timing is terrible currently with PC parts, so.

I think Xbox is really cool. I think it's mostly the lack of true exclusives that bothers people.

That being said... if they put out REALLY good exclusives I think it would help. Even just polishing up the ones they've got would really help IMO.
