Xbox is a good platform to get games for cheap

I keep hearing that Xbox is horrible and deserves to die but honestly I don't really get it? Yes, Xbox first party titles are shit but so are PlayStation and Nintendo's. The reason I like Xbox is because they have good sales. Every December for example you can find an abundance of good deals. Meanwhile PlayStation and Nintendo barely ever have sales. Now while I understand that it's likely because games sell worse on Xbox so third party's engage in price reduction to compensate, it still leads me to prefer them to any other console.

PC is cheaper anyway but from consoles Xbox is the cheapest for sure especially when you buy game pass shared account (about $5-6 per 6-12 months) and even if you don't their sales are pretty good sometimes even better than Steam (keyshops + piracy still win).

steam has even better sales but getting a PC with the hardware to run some of them can be challenging and might rival an Xbox in cost, not sure

It's still pretty cheap when you buy 2nd hand, rx 5700 xt is $120, ryzen 5600 is sub $100, mobo would probably the most expensive part. For console you need a tv and i don't own personal one only PC monitor.

You asked for same specs as Xbox so i showed you the same shit (rx 6600 is probably 1:1 due raytracing support). GPUs rarely die it's a myth that they always come broken i have post crypto mined gpu and it works as well as new despite being 5 years old.

Doesn't matter if it's enough to play any game on the market, Ryzen 5700 is most likely more comparable to Xbox.

And it's not like Xbox or PS5 can run any new games that well either. You want to spend more money to get better performance, 2nd hand rx 6800 xt would be the best bang for your bucks but it costs 3x as rx 5700 xt.

Console is nice because I can get old 360 games for 5 bucks each off of ebay pre-owned. That way I don't have to wait for a sale. If I want a game I can just get it anytime since it's value stays the same.

MH Rise is just a pc port of switch game, those games a minority most require better pcs than mine. Even indies like Satisfactory, Selaco or Black Mesa (but can use dxvk to get better fps) requires midend pc to run

My console uses the PC monitor ... because my PC monitor have two connectors : HDMI (for Xbox) and DisplayPort (for PC).

NB : Accidentaly, i launch the console during my PC session. In this case, the PC monitor doesn't accept the stream from the console.

Also Xbox’s user interface is vastly superior to Sony’s shitty and confusing layout.

Though since getting back into PS5 after buying the pro I concede they’ve improved it somewhat but still not enough.

Microsoft’s UI is superior to Nintendo’s as well though Nintendo does the game selection lineup part of it well at least.

Only if you are pirating, if you are buying legit games from Steam or keyshops there will never be a single virus. Unless you are low iq and don't check your sources from where you download games of pirate sites. I haven't got a single virus in years, last time when i caught something was shit from porn sites and bitcoin miners. I use Windows defender and Malwarebytes and i only see false positives from cracks so i ignore them since they are not viruses.

I have ryzen 5600 and rx6600 graphic card. I can play every game of the last years with no problem. In some i may need to cap fps and lower settings, but probably still better than console.

The only console i would mind to buy is Nintendo, just because they have exclusive games worth that are not coming into pc, mario and zelda basically. Both ps5 and specially Xbox series doesn't hold any value to me. Xbox has no exclusives, and sony eventually realeses them in pc

As it stands I agree, I game on ps5 and the xbox fucking mogs the shit right out of it as far as cheap games and the subscription library goes. Matter of fact ps5 library is an absolute fucking let down. Even the free three monthly games are shit.

I would rather have access to free game libraries as far as digital downloads go so I keep paying my subscription but it's a fucking rip off. I refuse to pay retail price for anything digital - I'm not against digital downloads at all but they need to be significantly cheaper than retail otherwise I refuse to make the leap.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you always need an internet connection to play anything digitally downloaded or no?
