Let's face it most incels have no social lives and spend most of their free time in their rooms. Prison would be a step up because atleast you get to mingle with other inmates and you don't have to worry anymore because you know what your future is. In your life you are "free" have all these hopes and dreams that are seemingly attainable whilst society has decided that you shall never be able to achieve them. Only the stress of trying and failing, usually some normie denying you.

The whole prison rape thing has a number of factors in play, in the past prison rape was bigger in the US, in modern times theres no end of whore men willingly giving it up so rape doesn't happen much as there is free ass readily available, in third world shitholes it's more common as homosexuality is less in the open & the men are on average higher in Testosterone than Western democracies thus more likely to rape some ass (prison logic dictates it's not gay to get with another man if you're the one "giving" rather than receiving). In Western countries it's more likely to be done as a shaming/dominance tactic against those disliked.

I'd imagine prison is hell for autistic types that struggle interacting with ppl generally.
