I´m seriously considering buying a pair of sfx 9mm contacts to give myself blue eyes until Stroma is available.

Only downside I can see is if a girl ever finds out you actually have brown eyes she´ll lose respect for you. You´d also have to switch jobs because it would be awkward as hell if you suddenly started coming to work with blue eyes.
