My family was robbed by the Chinese Communist Party.

My great-grandfather was a landlord and an aristocrat, with multiple wives. His wealth and land was robbed by the CCP after he died and they took over, and my family had to flee to the city.

My other great-grandfather was a secret police, operative and chief who worked for the previous regime. He was put to death by the CCP when they took over.

Because of the CCP, my family grew up malnourished and under stressful conditions.

Because of the CCP's obsession with collectivism and their many purges, my traditional culture was wiped out (I am NOT ethnically Han Chinese).
