Would you know if one of your old reddit accounts was hacked and broken into?

Got a notification that an old account I abandoned 93 days ago got perma banned today.

I logged back into the account on a different IP address to check what happened, there weren’t any posts that I didn’t create and there was nothing in the history.

The message just said the account was banned for “breaking the rules”. But it didn’t state a reason why. Somebody couldn’t have hacked into it without me knowing right?

I had to go through verifications to even get back into that account and I was notified about it on my current gmail account.

if they log in from a different IP and machine then it will send you an email

They can't hack my accounts, because all accounts I have ever made on Reddit have been permabanned .
