I dont agree. Down syndrome also comes in different degrees, in which many cases the individual isnt completely insane (hell, some even managed to get some level of education).

Ive seen ladies with the syndrome but still look fairly decent and being able to join a basic or simple conversation.

Not only you will be able to get children but you are making someone really happy. If both are ok with it, why not.. Life can be hard thus sometimes less optimal decisions are to be made.
