If you have a dark eye color like brown but you get let's say very light blue it's going to look weird because your brown eyes will show through

Not really unless it's a weird blue. You need decent contacts obviously,not some cheap garbage but I don't think anyone who sees you for the first time would be able to tell it's fake

I think it depends on contacts quality more honestly,but I never wore any color changing ones so I can't tell. However from what I have seen in some videos,some look quite convincing
