Hello. I briefly mentioned in an old thread making a GC for planning events and casual discussion. I really dislike the lack of user security/protection on discord and telegram so I would like to use signal instead.

Signal cannot be subpoenaed in ways discord and telegram can.

Downloaded the app and it asked for my number and full name

fake name and voip. Signal does show any info during an EDR or subpoena by feds.

also the app used to not having usernames and relied solely on number. they updated that so its not visible + if it got subpoenaed they would see nothing associated with it
