to love something there is a treshold that we, you, dont fit in, dont belong into. They love us but only if its fitting. Love, if it exist, seems only to be worth it with given treshold to maximize the quality of emotions. most emotions are evoked then, so they are content if we fit into their view. It used to happen to be in high school and college and work. I used to ask girls out all the time in college and work, and people look at me. I used to ask girls out using work email as well as LinkedIn. I even got suspended from LinkedIn for some time.

At work girls would look at me and laugh, and they kept the emails when I would ask them out. Sometimes, if I got no reply, I'd send them a reminder.
