These pipelines supply a lot of the oil used by Turkey, Isreal, and Europe. Nobody gives a shit about a few thousand dead Amernians and Azerbajians. But everybody is gonna be super fucking pissed if the gas gets cut off, especially Turkey who made these pipelines go all the way around Armenia instead of through it. And Russia actually would benefit if that were to happen because then Europe would have to rely on Russian oil supplies.

Are they tho? Russia won't risk war with Turkey over Armenia, in the span of these 5 years so many things happened that could've given Russia legitimate reasons to declare war on Turkey but Putin backed off each time.

Modern day Russia is only tough against small neighbours with small armed forces against more competent countries they back off, hell they even backed off from Ukraine after Ukrainians modernised their armed forces but i still remember back in 2014 how Russians were saying half of Ukraine would be Russia by 2016 i guess reality tends to be different from call of duty.

Yup, that's going to be the other flashpoint, maybe soon too. And if it succeeds and the UN backs down and gives up Taiwan, then it will just embolden China even more. Between China, Pakistan and Turkey they will be the new Axis powers, and all have nukes.
