I mean that manager was fat and ofc WAS A MANAGER a overseer. He just usually sat on a PC in the service Center and did a few calls and look at workers like me "doing the job".
That warehouse job was ridiculous. Minimum wage ofc. But also one of the most uncreative, low IQ jobs I ever did.
It was literally just stacking boxes and packaging shit all day - it wasnt Amazon but I assume its the same thing there.
Mindless work. Could and will most likely be replaced by robots in the future and thats how I felt like: A robot.
The job wasnt really "human" 6 hours standing around shifting boxes.
How stupid is that?
I was fired 4 weeks in the job because I made fun of my older Co-Workers.
The Co-Workers were pissed and told rhe manager.
I made fun of them because these idiot had worked nearly 20 years there already - that was longer then I lived at the time.
I was bamboozeled. How the fuck can one do this mindless shit for 20 fucking years, not have leveled up from their position and still only work Minimum wage?
I was too fresh, the workers were pissed and the manager told me "I wasnt taking the job seriously" obviously not lmao its first of all Minimum wage, secondly its mindless robotic work and third - these LOSERS have worked here for decades and still are here and do it without realizing that what they do pulls them into the grave with nothing left for themselves or their family
That sentence I did right when everyone was in the same room lmao and was what got me promply fired.
I found another minimum wage job just 1 week after being fired there.
Thats how "useless" being fired from a job like that.
Like I had MULTIPLE Co-Workers THREATEN me that if I say "something like that I could be laid off"
I was like "Bitch pleasey who gives a shit?"
