Why do the men at my job ignore the women until another man talks to her?
It’s for safety measures. Now days, thanks to movements like Meetoo and Believe her (even if she has no proof), it’s just need for a woman to says she was harassed, raped, abused and the men is screwed, no proof is required for that to happen to the man.
So man that fear to have their carrier ruined because of a lie, take measure of not interacting with women at work with no necessity, which means, if the guy can avoid it, he will.
So, if men are just keeping sure that trying to making sure they won’t be blamed at anything like sexual harassments or rape, men are aware that not all women are that devil, but how can the guy know if they will or not, it’s like trying to jump into the middle of lion’s den and guess if you will or not get eaten, even the man do nothing wrong but for some reason the women gets upset with him, she might want revenge and says he did something bad to her and that’s enough to end a man’s entire carrier. And again, no proof is required for that.
There are several example of men that were completely innocent but still got punished and their life ruined just because a woman liked, other man see that and of course will try to avoid that same situation to keep themselves safe. But not only Society seems to be against of men create a safe environment for them, but women feels 0 empathy towards men’s suffering, usually painting themselves as the great victims of problems ( like during the pandemic, men have been dying like flies and women complains they are the greatest victims).
In the end, nobody cares about men’s suffering, Sexual harrassment have been happening to men as well, numbers male suicide skies rocket though the roof and male assassination and death have never been so high before and yet, Zero F*cks have been give.
So what’s left is for man taking their own actions, keeping themselves as safe as possible and not take risks that will doom your life, cuz nobody cares about our safety and nobody ever will.
