With my four years ending, I got a lot to say about women throughout my service.
For starters women, at least in the marine Corps tend to chose more in the rear low effort jobs, like logistics, Administration, etc.
The Marine Corps, of all the military branches in the U.S. holds the smallest population of women in their ranks. The infantry and combat related roles hold insanely little to no women.
I also speak from experience, as the rifle company I served with is 100% male.
Females in the military hold an unfair advantage over male competitors, as they’re twice as likely to get promoted. Simply on the basis of gender and politics. And less on merit.

Women, as a whole have their standards differentiated in the physical tests we have, in all branches, their standards totally different. If I was a female, I’d literally be the most physically fit female in the marine Corps.
For Example, if women want a full 100 points in the PFT Pull Up section, all they need is 7 pull-ups! For males, they’d need a whole 20 if they wish to obtain the same score as woman in the PFT pull up section. Women also only need to score a 21:00 minute 3 mile for max points in that section. And max out the plank at 3:45. And you’d have the same score as an absolute stud! Meanwhile a male with those same exact stats would only obtain a second class PFT. Run the calculations yourself if you don’t believe me.
this is also unfairly taken into account during promotions and job opportunities in the Marine Corps, as they’re scores reflect a higher level of discipline and physical fitness, despite the fact that more then likely they would be unable to match a male in the same field. As the PFT and CFT scores affect your JPES score.
There are also more programs in place to “promote diversity” and elevate woman in the military, purposely looking less at merit and more at their gender. They also hold more access to government programs after their services, solely on gender.

Males in the military are in a very significant risk of committing suicide than females in the military. Why? Because males in the military have less access to specialized care, as a female in the military retains a higher amount of care through programs specifically made for them.

Men are overwhelmingly still suffering the most in conflicts, with a very large percentage of war time casualties still men. On a overwhelming scale.

In conclusion. Men continue to serve at an overwhelming rate in the military, with the few women who enter finding themselves enjoying far greater benefits than any male in the service. I have personally seen many males suffer and be treated like human filth, while women are actually treated far more humanely, both in training and in their jobs.

The fewer, the proud: female Marines
The month of March is designated as Women’s History Month where women are recognized for their accomplishments and progression in society nation-wide.

Why are they moving up faster?: Women in the Corps are doing better than you think
