The only reason why millennial women are having less sex than a generation ago is because they are much more likely to be single than women were a generation ago. They are choosing to play the field throughout their 20s and are less interested in long-term relationships than women were in the past. Single women have always had sex much less frequently than women in relationships.

This is because women have a much lower sex drive than men. Homosexual couples have twice as much sex as heterosexual couples because men have a much higher sex drive than women. Lesbian couples have much less sex than heterosexual couples.
