Women have literally never been the oppressed gender. All females needed to do in the past was not be whores to be praised as special and worthy of men fighting each other to the death over. People love taking a stupidly politically correct stance on history and assume that the women of the past were living horrific lives devoid of any hope or love when in reality they were trophies to accompany a successful male.
