Part of the reason marital rape laws are the way they are is because men don't put their foot down. At the end of the day marriage is just a social agreement. Both parties agree to rules, and the rules are enforced. The types of men that get married, are either simps, or dude's that don't actually care about the direct benefits of marriage, and are doing it for status. The only reason men currently complain about marriage is because not being married makes you look low status. This why conservative men, and men that care about masculinity, care so much about it. It's either about status or in the simp's case, chasing a fantasy. I think that's another reason a lot of guys pay for onlyfans instead of prostitutes. It's because they can have their own virtual stripper, without having to go to a strip club and possible lowering their status.

The average dude is too busy jacking off and "not committing" to care that much about marriage anyway. If men actually, truly, relied on women to get off (and not just feel socially, or sexually validated) things would be very very different in society.
