Nice observation.
It’s because they are afraid to piss of their master if they are „controlled“. Women are not tough or hard or aggressive, they just get pushed into that by giving them way too much say and power, they full know and understand their power in society and over men and they use it to their advance.

Yeah. It´s too naive to think otherwise. Not surprise why they were controlled to begin with.
Our ancestors understood them perfectly, modernity is arrogant and thought it would do better than thousands of years of ancient wisdom.
