I don't know about the situation in America (or any other country for that matter), but in Sweden molesting at these festivals are becoming common, so I think it's fair of them to have women-only festivals. I mean if I was a female I would be afraid to go to one of these festivals. Although it's kinda annoying when the same people who arranged/participated in the female-only ones complain about the existence of male-only festivals.
