According to an affidavit, 20-year-old Krista Brashanti Moneymaker

convinced the victim to meet her at midnight by contacting her through a fake Facebook and iCloud account.

Authorities stated that Moneymaker had messaged the victim, claiming she could not find the victim’s house and needed her to walk to the nearest intersection.

Moneymaker jumped out of the bushes and threw a brick at the victim’s face when she approached the intersection.

Authorities said that the victim began to run back to her house when Moneymaker followed her, shooting three times before the gun jammed.

The victim called law enforcement when she returned home and is uninjured.
