I learned all of my good assertive traits in life from my mother, and about nothing from my dad except how to binge eat and be a fat fuck while getting by. In 2023 I returned from a short trip to Pakistan I went on with my mom, and I came alone bc my mom decided to stay so she could help cousins with VISA shit. Upon my arrival back with just my father in the house, I learned so much from his example that I gained 45lbs, shrunk an inch in height, and became suicidally depressed. His routine after work would be to eat a pint of ice cream, eat a box of Little Caesars', and play Elden Ring until 3AM. At times I inevitably joined in on everything except playing Elden Ring, since that shit is single player. Only started straightening up over the last year when my mom came back, weirdly she's like the real father figure I realize, tho it comes with the downside of her being an unnecessarily neurotic verbally abusive bitch (but that builds character).
