It's highly unlikely we will return to such a state in any time soon. The modern structure of society is too entrenched, and the damage that has been done is far too great.
It's not the best option. In that dynamic the male is the workhorse and the foid piggybacks. Foids are the most privileged under trad, and I whole heartily support modernity and foids wageslaving.

As long as the women is incapable of initiating divorce, most men would be content oofy doofying for guaranteed sex. The problem is women aren't virgins at marriage and they are allowed to divorce.
Translated: Men get their sense of purpose for their slavery and devotion to foids, and foids get their purpose by barely tending to a kid (much like having a pet.) That doesn't sound like a good dynamic.
I also get unhappy if I'm not doing anything, which is why I choose to do things I like.
