- The first source is literally titled "Incels are not particularly right-wing or white"
- The second source reports an unsourced statement by Ross Haenfler, an associate professor of sociology at Grinnell College who studies subcultures and masculinity: "What makes the incel culture different is that these are primarily heterosexual white men who are directing their anger in a misogynistic way towards women,” Later in the article it is stated "In 2001, Georgia State University researchers studied a small sample of people who were active in these communities. The respondents were mostly white, young men who said that their involuntary celibacy had links to negative self-image, a sense that their sexual development was behind that of their peers, and depression, the study found." This is as disingenuous as claiming white Americans are the most violent racial group because they commit the most crime. Yes, they commit the most crime due to their sheer size within the US population, but not the most on a per capita basis.
