I remember when I was a kid being shown this pyramid a million times and being told that carbohydrates were the most important part of your diet, that you had to eat a lot of bread, pasta, cereal and similars to have energy for the day. But now with the fitness and healthy eating culture everyones says that carbohydrates are worse than poison and that they make you fat and are not nutritious, wtf, why wasn't I told that in the first place? All my life believing that bread or cereal was healthy but now all the nutriotionists and health professionals saying they should be avoided like the plague kek. Or bodybuilders who will say "just eat meat and protein shakes bruh
