why tf smash ultimate won't work?

I get put against CPUs in Quick Play half the time and matches won't start in Battle Arenas, wtf? Am I cursed or something?

I have upped the data transfer on my Switch, I have tried 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi and normal Wi-Fi and shit still refuses to work.
