Trump is a hothead who is sort of a isolationist. He advocates Japan, Korea, and Taiwan should pay for the "protection" of the US bases. To me, it seems like Trump thinks we are benefitting from it, not him; whether that is the case or not, asking for more funds would worsen the relations between US and these countries.
It would accelerate US base related protests and ultimately, kick out the occupiers.
REMEMBER: the only thing that matters is getting the US occupiers out. The Korean incel movement would get a massive bonus by the fact that US bases with their judeo-bolshevik libtard values are gone.
