Cuz they can do shitty edits on cucktok

Do you think in words, people who do think verbally like thought stimulation more than consuming content aka reading, watching, listening etc, that's why they like these things, programming is also one such a kind of thing, that's why some people like programming and math meanwhile others just can't do it

Because grand strategy games are the final no woman space.

i never played it but as a total war player and arma , project reality player , insurgency sandstorm too , playing games where you have to think and see the whole picture , be strategic feels amazing , it's true it is more boring but you have to think more ( like you're playing a chess game ) before acting and some people prefer that over fast autistic jumping everywhere.

I love chess :feelsLightsaber:

Real answer, is it's just fun to strategize and plan out what you're doing in the long term to achieve what ever goal you have. It's kind of like battle royal in the sense that it's a slow burn that slowly picks up into a crescendo. You build up your industry, military, and fight small scale wars until something major happens (war with a major or big alliance) then you need to use the things you've built for potentially hours at that point to win and any mistake could potently cost you a run. So you're constantly adapting to what ever the AI throws at you. They're raping your airforce and are bombing the fuck out of you? ground your airforce and build up stronger fighters and try to mitigate the damage done to your ground forces by retreating to a better position(mountains, rivers, forts you built.) Get navel invaded with all of your troops a few miles away from Moscow? quickly Strat redeploy what you can (but not to much or you'll get fucked in the east) and try to shit out some quick divisions or that small invasion is going to get really big, really quickly. Add in the massive amount of mods, many of with tell interesting stories in a super unconventional medium and you've got nearly limitless content.

TLDR: It's something very niche that you either get or you don't.

I know there are games that focus on only the combat aspect and are way better but the games are for people who don't have frontal cortex damage

I like seeing the green bubbles and LARPING as a based historical figure.
So why not play fields of glory 2 or Total war series they are way better without the micromanagement shit

Because military strategy is fun and there is nothing more satisfying than planning your military conquests and seeing them realized. Building industry and military bases is also fun and rewarding - I don't know how to describe it really, but it's a nice feeling to know that the country you're playing as is making progress and is becoming a powerhouse thanks to your leadership.

Those games focus on pre and early gunpowder warfare. Some of us really like WW2 and managing large front wars rather than individual battles.

Because I enjoy strategy games in general, and HOI4 has a historical setting that appeals to me. I also like the complex decision-making and resource management required to succeed in the game, and the satisfaction that comes from being able to shape the world's destiny through my strategic decisions

Search up Fields of Glory 2 on Steam
Also I haven't played Total War but they also have Rome and Ancient eras I think

Respectable but personally in a game I want to just enjoy and don't think too much

Yeah, sometimes it does get kind of boring. It's why I opted for games like Rimworld, which is still strategy based, but the action is much more direct and fun.

Yeah, those games are set in ancient times before gunpowder. Some people prefer Hoi4 because of its WW2 setting.

I liked World conqueror 4, basically HOI4 for low IQ people

I was recommended to play England actually tho
>0/0/0 starting ruler
>war against France immediately
>civil war disaster that completely fucks over national stability
whoever recc'd that to you is evil

Hoi4 isn’t that hard tbh. It just requires patience and a lot of trial and error at the beginning

I tried it and I already got bored the first 2 hours. I just don't like thinking too much in videogames.

Yea but the premise of HOI 4 is boring
Field of Glory 2 makes you feel like a general on the battlefield while hoi 4 you stack up defenses and move units from a map
FOG 2 is more hands on microing

Me too look into Total War

The good things it has are the lore and mods

I think the reason was because after early conquest you're just on a easily defensible island and you start with a strong navy so you don't have to worry about that shit. Also recommend on focusing on trade value shii but I wasn't paying attention.

England isn't hard but the start might be hard to overcome for newfags
The shitholes in northern Italy might be a bit better for learning trade as a beginner especially after you learned how warfare and diplomacy works
