Ded srs I've seen so many memes and videos presenting stoicism as the Yes Chad life philosophy and so many zoomers following the trend. I doubt zoomers worldwide just randomly picked up a book on Greek philosophy and discovered stoicism. Did Andrew Tate or some other influencer start to spam it in his videos or what?

Yup. If you're a man who's getting bitches, you don't even think about shit like that. You just are yourself and that's it, it's good enough.
But when you get zero bitches, you realize that something is wrong with you and you're trying to fix it by getting into these weird ass cope movements like stoicism, mgtow, sigma grindset, self-improvement which will fill the void for a while, but it won't fix the underlying problem: You not getting bitches because you're too ugly or a freak.

It's a classic mindset that people who have no real power to change the world adopt in times of uncertainty and discomfort.
Mostly a coping mechanism, zoomers seem especially desperate and will cling to any chain offered them.
