Pretty obvious from even the reticence of swing states to declare any new results about who won that state. And for days now.
The media has decided they will announce who is the winner. And Americans just let them despite knowing the corruption of the media.
Counting has always taken more than a day, especially with absentee, provisional, and overseas military ballots. Official results are usually not certified until late November, and December is when the electoral college meets. Normies are just conditioned to expect results immediately.
The modern-day election night didn't take shape until the rise of cable news, whose executives saw it as a way to improve their ratings. The networks would have analysts and mathcels go over exit polls and the current counts, and when the counting reached a stage where it is statistically improbable for the trailing candidate to overtake the leading candidate, they would "call" a state even though the count is nowhere near finished.
Some states, like West Virginia and Vermont, are called immediately right after polls close, because you already know who is going to win those.
This year, there are 10x the number of absentee ballots than there ever were, voter turnout (in terms of raw number and in terms of percentage of the population) is the highest in U.S. history, and social distancing guidelines means fewer poll workers can be crammed into one office. And this is a tight election with razor-thin margins; the situation we're seeing is the opposite of 1984 where Reagan won 525 of 538 votes and the election was called for him before polls were closed on the West Coast. So this year it'll take a while for the networks to "call" a state.

if you want to play their real game which is chess, you would probably lose big,
