If you're non-NT you can't normally function in modern Western society because you're supposed to develop yourself through social interactions.

Unless you're really gifted at something and hardworking or born into a really rich family, the chances are your success in this society is going to be very limited as an autist. You can't get a social circle to help you get things, you're going to suck at job interviews etc. You need to be like 110% qualified for something to even be considered.

I think I always knew on some level that working for somebody else would not work long term. I last worked for somebody else in this country in 1992. And yes, working for yourself is every thing it's cracked up to be.

I think it's easier to get by in East Asia than the west if you're Autistic, it was also easier to get a job in the past with mental illness than now. Today we have mega corporations that expect you to tick all the boxes with 100 candidates applying for 1 vacancy so they pick the best one or the biggest bullshitter running social game. Women in the workforce, loads of unskilled migrants working for pitiful wages bumps up the competition, it's a race to the bottom with employers wanting to maximize their bottom line, fuck efficiency; just exploit suckers or hold a monopoly so that no natter how piss poor you're running your company it doesn't matter as all options lead to you getting the money for a product/service, the lawsuit culture scaring employers off from hiring someone that might have a case for discrimination, in the past you could get hired by some small business as they were more accepting of quirks, it wasn't so lookist back then.

Yeah I am on the spectrum but am high functioning, the problem is when the genetic dice are rolled and a kid comes out badly autistic - that shit is a life wrecker. You have a child who is angry, violent, incapable of expressing themselves or communicating, and will be like that their entire life. No wonder women avoid autistic men like they have the plague.

Humans are tribal creatures and pack cooperation has been important for us, so anything impeding this is going to be heavily selected against by women.
