Why I prefer cats to dogs

Dogs make life worse. They're too needy. Having a dog is like being stuck with a child without the benefit that the child will eventually grow more intelligent and take care of themselves. I can't stand that horrible noise dogs make known as barking. Nor can I stand how gross dogs are in general. Whenever they pick me I dry heath.

I have always preferred cats. Cats are much more peaceful. I enjoy having a cat because it's satisfying to pet a cat and feel it purr. Cats will destroy any mice that dare invade your home. Cats are intelligent enough where you can simply train them to use a litter box. Thus saving you the labor of taking them on a walk.

I'm not going to delude myself into believing a cat loves me. That would be bullocks. However having a cat is definitely a satisfying experience. More so than becoming a slave to some mutt.

I agree. Dogs are irritating as fuck. They're loud and bite everything. Nobody knows how to train their dogs. And you gotta follow them around and pick up every lump of poop they shit out for their entire lives. I see people walking their dogs and picking up poop all the time. There are plenty of breeds that are cat sized and low maintenance. cats crawl all over everything, claw at shit, constantly run off and don't alert you to anything that needs attention. I've had a few 10 pound mutts over the years and they've all been pretty chill. Some dogs are annoying little shits though and bark at nothing, larger dogs can be even worse as they block enterance ways and are harder to ignore if they're the type to jump on you for attention. Small dogs are basically like better cats as long as you get one that isn't too yappy.

Dogs are better rodent catchers as well, cats have a tendency to play with their prey which allows them to get away and get into the house or they tear the heads off and get blood on the floor, dogs in my experience get a clean kill and have the decency to leave the corpse outside the door which makes clean up easier and prevents them from escaping and hiding in the house.

my tomcat i had before used to hiss at me. not directly at me but he would do it with his face down which was his way of saying you're annoying me but you're still family and i still love you.

my girl cat never ever hissed at me before. when i would push her away from sitting on the computer chair she would do a cute little bratty moan. thats all. she also loved sitting on my lap. many times I was busy gaming but she wouldn't give up until she got to sit on my lap even with a heater turned on nearby.

i like dogs and all animals for that matter but I don't wanna constantly walk a dog or pickup their fresh warm shit. the plastic gloves are never enough and you can still smell their shit on your hands or wrist.
