If Rome collapsed due to men not working anymore and foreign mercenaries serving in the army, then why is the West still standing?
We have so much in common with Rome, it´s a near identical situaltion.
If data and stats are accurate on the dating market and that terrible where well over 60% of men are single,
how are we able to hold on, go on about our daily lives and act as if nothing will happen?

Collapses never happen at one single date. It's slow and gradual and historically people haven't even noticed that they've "collapsed". Even after Romulus Augustulus was deposeed, most people in Rome behaved as if nothing really changed. People think that the idea of a Roman collapse only really entered public consciousness when Justinian retook Italy from the Germanics.
