Really annoyed that good cheap smartphones in Indian never make it to the west. Literally all cheap smartphones available in the west are trash phones with trashy chipsets.
anglos dominate the markets and want big markups
Curry phones aren't status symbols so there's no chance they will be sold in the West.
Didn't know India produced smartphones kek. Well, if you want you can always order them online i guess.

They're not exactly Indian phones. They are basically chinese companies making the phone and sourcing the parts from India.
People do buy cheap good phones as a second phone.

There are a few Indian smartphone companies such as micromax and lava
xiaomi offers good value for money
Samsung is an established brand now it isn't seen as the phone which was known for blowing up anymore as for the other 2 they're seen as good value for money

Actually my Moto is made in India and it works fine. But, admittedly, most stuff from India is crap compared to China.

Indian stuff is crap because the government don't help the sector and also harass and jail people that want to make high quality goods.
If steve jobs was born in india then he would have been harassed by the bureaucracy and asked for bribes.
They don't work on US bands and there's no big demand, the poor in America can afford flagship phones and turd worlders obviously can't
