In Quora, they will mention well-known brand names (or people) but would sneakily insert one or two Indian entries that no one really know outside of India. I don't think anyone does that outside of Indians.

For example, I'll pull a few questions.

"Which are the top 10 best car companies?"

"What are some of the best channels to follow on YouTube?"

Despite the constant self-inserting, I find it distasteful. A lot of brands that Indians uphold are...foreign. Maruti is basically Suzuki's Indian headquarters. I mean, rices barely brag about their brands which are actually known in the world, especially India. Chinese phones literally sell like hotcakes in India, while Chinese themselves suck up to Iphones.

They literally brag about 'saving' other countries like Israel and Russia. To be fair, India had an rocket that actually 'worked' so I gotta give some credit to them.
