I don't really see the appeal. At least with earrings, the sort of traditional image of femininity is maintained and it doesn't make women ugly but I can never understand the appeal of a septum piercing. Is it to resemble some sort of animal?

Septum's are really ugly, I think there's two reasons why. Some want to appear more extreme for some reason, and the others just like how it looks
