Some people really do think they've ascended and that all the problems in their life are solved the moment they meet one foid who will give them the time of day.
I think a month or two later they realize that they have other challenges to face in life, and that they still struggle with social interaction and reading emotions, unlike Chad.

Ehhhh, that depends on what the root cause of their inceldom is, how (reasonably) fixable that issue is and how attractive they otherwise are.
A reasonably attractive guy with, say, a crippling dermatological condition stands a chance at ascension because certain incelogenic skin diseases can be successfully treated and a degree of damage/scarring can be reversed since skin is constantly regenerating.
Or say an otherwise reasonably attractive guy with a gruesome but operable tumor on his face, or a fucked up nose fixable with a rhinoplasty, you get the idea.
So to say somebody who has genuinely suffered and experienced socio-sexual deprivation due to a potentially treatable affliction is a fakecel simply ain't right.

I don't think it's so much that people don't want others to ascend, it's just that they don't want to feel any more lonely and isolated than they already are. Imagine what it would be like to be the only incel in the world.

I can't talk to most people my age because our experiences of life have been so different that we have very little to talk about, and most people will think less of you if they find out you're a khhv in your mid twenties. People don't want to associate themselves with you because they don't want their own perceived value to be lowered. I don't even blame anybody for this individually, I just hate human nature, we're awful.

Indeed, someone who ascends as a result of surgery is an affirmation of the blackpill -- that your genes were so subhuman, you needed a doctor to fix you up just to have a normal life. Those users typically still respect other users here.
