As others in this thread said, generally they don’t care, a lot of them don’t even know what the term incel means, they’re not familiar with this subculture at all.

The main reason for this is the media spotlight the terms incel and blackpill got after the mass killings of ER, but particularly after Alek Minassian. The term got popular as “men who hate women because they can’t get laid” and these “misogynistic terrorist acts” (there’s an actual wiki page for this) were associated with the whole subculture, making it seem to the general public that we’re dangerous to society. This obviously attracts a lot of attention.
