Hypocrisy Why do men have to adapt to new standards but women don't?

So men are not allowed to desire young virgin women because it makes you a creep. We aren't living in the ancient world anymore where a woman's youth and fertility is a key driver to societal development. We live in a modern economy driven by women's participation in the work place and that can't be disrupted by young girls getting pregnant in their teens.

ok so why is it perfectly accepted for women to desire men based on their height? We aren't living in the ancient world where height is a good predictor of a man's ability to gain resources. We live in a technologically advanced, service based economy where a 5'5" man could use his mind to gain skills via stem fields and contribute in ways not tied to raw strength.

After reading about hags, I read about the Nine Hells (D&D). I don't know how they wrote such a spitting image of modern western society decades ago. I think they really intended to write the most awful legalistic nightmare they could imagine, and it ended up being the ghost of USA future.
