More males means increased competition and that benefits all women. Even the women who do not have asylum-seeker boyfriend benefit, because they can now have better quality local men than without the asylum-seekers.
Stop lying that all refugees get rejected. If 20% (the hottest fifth) of them find a GF within 1 year, that already has a big effect on displacing local below-average men. Consider for example that a town in Finland or Sweden with a population of 30 000 gets an influx of 500 asylum-seekers. That is already a big bad effect on local young men, because the asylum-seekers are almost all young men. So the effect on the sex ratio of 17-25 years old is big.

What do you mean, "it makes no sense"? It makes perfect sense. Just because they want refugees to seek refuge in their countries, doesn't mean they want to sleep with them. Why would they? Not to mention, refugee men are often married already. I would call it virtue signaling but then I realize that most natives are against refugees so that is not the case.

I had an ugly looking, gay South East Asian teacher in high school. He looked like a fish. He said that when he came to Sweden in the 1960s or 1970s, every girl wanted to be in a relationship with him because he was the only one who had black hair, dark eyes and tanned skin.
