Discussion Why do American/Alaskan natives cause so many car crashes?

I was doing a little research to see if race was related to traffic deaths and found that AIANs get in most fatal crashes in the US. When you account for population size, they're 22.79 per 100,000 people. I initially expected the blacks to be the most dangerous on the road but they're in 2nd place at 15.51 per 100,000.

You don't typically see them as a prominent or noticeable figure on any crime statistics, so what's the correlation?

Any theories? Do they just have bad eyesight or something?
