Think about it.

We all know people. And these people know that we are single.
These people know other single people.

So why did they never introduce me to any of the single women they know?

I mean he does have a point. Not too long ago communities and familie worked like that. Men and femoids that hadn't been married yet for whatever reason, got coupled together. Mothers and aunts would constantly look for a female partner for their son or daughter. It was a thing that was basically programmed to happen even if you weren't attractive. You got a partner, had kids. Needs were met.

That was one of it's functions, now this is removed and no one cares anymore infact everybody is just competition. I understand his anger.
