Because we trend Anglo here so names like those you suggested don’t spring to mind. Chad is a common name for jocks in America whereas Hispanics there are typically not in the vein as Banderas or even an Andy Garcia. It’s also simple and we imagine a fair haired fair eyed Aryan when we hear it, not a swarthy squat Inca or a Latin with Moslem blood.
