Unfortunately Indian curries have gotten the feminine ogre stereotype over time which is the worst of both negative halos for males.
I'd say more it's the absence of any negative stereotypes for Chinese and rice males compared to curry males that allows Chinese and rice males to have a slight upper hand although it wasn't always this way.
Even young curries are taller than Japs for example. Koreans would be the tallest on the other hand.
Japanese males still don't have the negative halos curries have. It's really holding a lot of curries back imo. Before curries like many rice males were neutral but the bad PR about them in the media made them a laughing stock in normies eyes in western countries. Before that curries were kind of a unknown and could benefit from that niche if they were good looking and NT acting enough.
Plus if you consider Pakistanis and Afghans curry, then in that case they would be the tallest. Some of them can be moggers but the majority of the population even there is subhuman.
Pakistanis and Afghans do better but a lot don't consider themselves as curries but more South Asian/Southwest Asian from what I've seen. They definitely have the most going for them out of other South Asians with the tall height, respectable physical frames and light colored eyes.
When I say curries I mean more India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
