They believe that people will burn in Hell for all eternity yet they support breeding. Why would they risk bringing more life into the world if there is a chance their child will burn in eternal hellfire? Wouldn't it be better not to exist?

Genesis 1:28 boyo.

"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

That said, most casual non-practicing Christians have kids for the same reason anyone else does. Devout ones really take this verse to heart though. That's why you see super religious families with 5+ kids.

I think, for many faiths, the followers are instructed by the deity to create new life in the world.
So really, they have more of an excuse than the nonbelievers.

"Not my child!", humans tend to believe they're above average and somehow unlikely to experience bad things.

The verse I posted is part of the story of creation. The whole book of Genesis is generally taken as the direct word of God by most denominations. Same with Exodus and the 10 commandments. They ignore the Laws of Moses (strict old testament laws you hear about) because they believe that a new covenant was made when Jesus saved man. I have no idea why they draw that line (keeping Genesis and Exodus relevant) where they do. I'm not a theologian.

Also God is single, and so was Jesus and Paul said it's better not to get married.

Religion needs believers, if religious people from a certain religion don't reproduce - chances are this religion is going to die off
very quickly, and thus the religious prominent figures realized that religions and such retarded concepts are vastly ingrained through
families and society, so they promoted birth in order to increase their religion's power and control.

The New Testament inconveniently doesn't match up to the Puritan morals the USA was founded on. Through mental gymnastics most American Christians have convinced themselves that the entire book is the word of Jesus, though it isn't, so it is much easier to control people's behavior with old testament scripture.
