I actually thought about this just now and I've come to the conclusion that it's because they are completely average in every way and a non threat.
It's well known that while women might exceed at certain things better than the average Joe, they are still more average overall. The whole point of education is to master the learned knowledge then expand upon it. This s something said NPCs can't do. They can parrot the material but cannot expand it. It's a huge waste of time and a failure of the instituins meant to promote pursuit of knowledge. Whatever though, they're just glorified status symbols now, they aren't doing shit compared to what they did in the past.
There are little to no severe variations in factors like intelligence or creativity/drive like there is with men. They're like NPCs perfectly capable of a task, but not really exceeding at it.
It's probably this + the fact that since men variate so much, they can easily overthrow dusty useless fuck boomers off their rotting thrones if given the chance. So the boomers would rather hire those safe choices which are both a non threat and also a good diversity good boy point. It's a win win to them.
