Western culture is generally anti-intellectual, someone who is a genius would have harder time fitting in with normal people, constantly having to dumb themselves down, otherwise they'd be envied, seen as uncool and nerdy, and won't be able to connect with their peers. Studies show higher IQ people, those who'd get into top tier colleges like Harvard, have less sexual partners and lose their virginities later, they also have less kids and at later ages. IQ also increases inhibition and decreases criminality, both of which are shown to be attractive to women.
