Then some time after that I saw screenshot where some random ginger wrote some bluepilled shit about "money is not everything" or something like that and Dan sperged out and wrote long-ass redpill-tier angry reply
Then a few years later there was a little drama because he was near ariana grande concert shooting and during it he would film himself jogging back and forth like a commando and claiming that he will grab gun from his car and shoot the shooter

Tbh. But even i dont play much dota as of last year since i been getting some crashes with the game after 2018 so i stopped playing. I also played casually when i was playing. Definately the most fun and hardest moba i have played amongst LoL, HoTS, and Smite.

Eh, these days I almost don't play anything, vidya just isn'a a fun cope anymore
I used to play L4D2 a lot mostly with mods (you can pretty much turn this game into L4D2 remake with all things on workshop, but to find any of those you have to dig through tone of shit anime and joke mods- I can recommend some mods if you want), Gmod but for the sake of making/playing with various things and not playing on servers, some minecraft servers centered around guild wars (pvp in this game is shit, but you would be suprised at the amount of autistic 4D-chess, WWII-tier battle-plans and tactical espionage that is going on when two big guilds fight each other), obviously almost everything official from Half-Life series, Black Mesa, entire Crysis series, entire Doom series (my favourite was Doom 3, I played the older pixel games only with mods though), Dota and CS: Go but I dropped them because I decided that I hate competitive games, some steam f2p games but all of them were full of shit and grind. I also used to play some terraria and 7 days to die, good games if you have a shitload of time, Dawn of War II, Dead Island series and a bunch of random fps shooters that I don't even remember. Yeah, that would be it.

Damn thats a crazy big collection. For me personally, i could never get bored of games, and if i do feel bored then i take a break, and comeback again with a fresh mind and will to play. I have not touched alot of those games you listed and some of them, i have. Games are and always will be my favourite cope. Hope you also get the will to play games again. Especially since there are just so many out there to experience.

I have played many different genres from RTS, RPG, Mobas, FPS, Oldskool online flash games, and much more. Even after playing so many different games, there are still so many out there that i still wish to play. Gaming is a life long cope for me tbh, It keeps me alive. I also have great childhood memories from videogames and shit.

Its also very cool to know that you are somewhat interested in making games. Learning coding is an amazing adventure, it is time consuming but it is worth it. It keeps your mind sharp and creative and can help you build real life skills that can land you a job in the industry. Building games is the best way to learn programming in my opinion. I am currently about to graduate from my CS Degree with a major in game development so what i can reccommend to you is to just pick any game engine of your choosing (Either Unity or Unreal Engine 4) and give them a try. They are amazing and you never know where it will lead you. I have worked a decent amount with Unity and it is amazing for any newcomer to programming and game development. Currently i am also trying to pick up UE4. I consider my self a very shitty programmer and i am still trying to improve. So how far you want to go is all upto you, but you need to take that first step. I have worked a decent amount with Unity and it is amazing for any newcomer to programming and game development. Currently i am also trying to pick up UE4. Ive made games with many different languages and many different frameworks and game engine, even making my own game engine from scratch with a group in a school project. Developing something with your own effort and harswork will truly make you happy.

It's awesome that you are into game development, I envy you for that. In my opinion making games is the most creative type of making art and entertaiment that there is out there.

For game development, I would recommend starting with Unity and C# because they are both easier to grasp than UE4 and C++. If you are just wanting to learn basic programming first then you can start with any OOP language of your choice. If you properly learn any of the main OOP languages (Java, C#, C++). You can then learn anything. As for your course with graphics and VR, it sounds very interesting. Remember that you dont have to limit yourself, you can learn what they teach you at school and learn other stuff additionally by yourself at home. The possibilities with the skills you learn at school and home are endless so keep exploring and keep learning.
