Some personal matter occured which I don't want to discuss, but did in fact spark the reason for this post.
And it's a simply question "Who is "We"?!"?
Everytime people talk about themselves as "we" instead of I - and its all the same types of persons: power hungry, narcisstic people like politicians, Team leaders, managers...Discord Server owners.
Certain "Influencers" simply say "Chat" or "Fans".
Looking at the way pronouns pattern in the speech of higher status vs. lower status participants in interactions, particularly those in an employment context, psychologist James Pennebaker and his colleagues found that those who took on leadership roles used fewer first-person singular words (I, me, my) and more plural words (we, our, they), while those in subordinate roles used I-words more.
Angela Merkel promply stated in 2015 "Wir schaffen das!" "We can do it!" referring to the migrant crisis which STILL is happening in Europe and "we" did in fact not make it.
Everytime I am in the room and a person speaks of we - I never see myself included.
"We managed to complete the project"...no...I did! I did it!? It was me, all of it. Yet other people are cheering.
When it's the rare case and I like truly didnt give a fuck...it was never about "We" it was only Jester it was only "You". Rare cases because even with my depression and shit life I still try my best.
I think the proclamation of "We" also comes from no personal free speech.
Nobody can "critizise" a person of higher standing, thats a "diss" you are made a bully for pointing out the failures of others like AFD pointed out the failures of Merkels CDU/SPD - the same parties that got realected.
Nothing ever happens. It is all just we.
It was never about "me". I never EVER got asked how I feel.
Nobody cares about "me". And I am pissed.
I never was "We", I do not associate with "We".
I never had real teen love, never had sex, no relationships, I don't drink or smoke or do drugs or am a party animal etc.
I also remember like when it comes to Highschool parties some kid came into class and said "Are we going to the party XYZ?" I dunno who the fuck he was talking to, certainly wasn't me, because when I showed up "We" was confused why "Me" was there. "We" was weirded out about that part of "We" that is "Me".
"We" never existed, let's be honest here it was just "Me" and "Nobody" and it will always be like that.
